This Week...Hope and Spring...a Winning Combination.
Spring arrived this week! We’ve had absolutely beautiful weather and believe it or not, we are now experiencing some very much needed rain.
Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul - and sings the tunes without the words - and never stops at all. Emily Dickinson
I say that because the oak pollen has been so heavy these past few weeks that those of us with any kind of allergies have been going bonkers.
Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe. Saint Augustine
You can see it on cars and all over the sidewalks. Ordinarily, this wouldn’t be an issue but al the pollen has made my eyes and nose itch. With the urging to keep our hands away from our eyes and nose, this has been a new challenge for me!!
Faith is a knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof. Khalil Gibran
Itching aside, spring has always been a favorite time of year for me. It means Texas bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes are blooming. Soon there will be colorful flowers all around and the grass will be green again.
There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something tomorrow. Orison Swett Marden
Spring means new life coming into the world. Some of our eggs have hatched and I know that all around us the mockingbirds and cardinals are nesting with their new family.
Spring has always meant a renewal of life….HOPE.
Enjoy your spring weekend and
may it be full of HOPE!
