Check out the toilet paper of yesterday.
This shortage of toilet paper makes the older generation chuckle because today's generation has no memory of the toilet paper of yesteryear. I happen to have these old catalogs saved for some reason and they could be useful again!
If you check the history of today's toilet paper you will learn that when toilet paper was first produced the buyers refused to purchase it. Why should they?
Sears sent out so much free paper in their catalogs that there was no reason to spend money. They sent Christmas books, Home books and the clothing magazines that we all loved. The new toilet paper industry finally found the solution; they gave it away! Then the folks fell in love! Became addicted and were happy to buy it.
So with this shortage, would my old books be useful?
