Montgomery County, MD Schools and Libraries Closures
Governor Larry Hogan and State Superintendent of Schools Karen Salmon announced today, March 25, that they are extending the closure of all Maryland public schools until April 24, 2020. All Montgomery County Public Schools buildings will be closed during this time.
In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, all MCPL branches and book drops will remain closed through April 24, 2020, in alignment with Montgomery County Public Schools. All programs, classes, activities and rentals scheduled during the closure are canceled.

Subhash Sharma Also called Bristly thistle, Horrid thistle, Pink thistle or Bull thistle, is a North American species of plants in the thistle tribe within the sunflower family. It is an annual or biennial. The species is native to the eastern and southern United States from New England to Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma as well as to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Bahamas. Despite being a horrid weed and agriculturalist’ nightmare this weed has a Conservation status in the United States as it is endangered in Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania. It is also listed as threatened in Rhode Island.
