Minnesota in timeout...

Real Estate Agent with Edina Realty

Starting at 11:59PM on Friday night we are entering in to a new phase. The Gov has asked us to stay home. He is asking nicely, but it's pretty much an order. So what does it mean for real estate?

It means that I'm still working.

Things might run at a slightly slower pace, but under the Governor's order real estate is deemed an essential business and we are still here to help you!

This is a GREAT time to start the process whether you are gearing up to buy or to sell a home in the next few months.

For sellers it is a great time to start sorting, cleaning, fixing and prepping. I would love to chat with you about where to start, what will help and to set up a timeline. It is possible at this point to list your home and expect a sale. Buyers are still trying to settle in - it's just taking a bit longer.

For buyers it is a great time to put away a few of those extra dollars that you are saving by not spending time in the stores. It's also a great time to talk to lenders, we can set up your home search and start looking at the timelines and expectations of a move.

In the event that you are buying or selling a home right now it is possible to do so. Working smartly and remotely we can get the job done!

For those in the "middle" of your move - banks, appraisers, inspectors and title companies are working together. In a collaberation of change we are working together to help you get into your new homes!
