The buyers for this home are from Oregon. We have been talking about Lewisburg properties since December 2019. They arrived last Thursday and we started looking at homes for sale. We viewed this home on Monday and wrote an offer, and was accepted the same day. This was a cash transaction and we closed on this property today. All the homes we viewed were vacant.
The buyers sold their rental home in Oregon and wanted to reinvest their money in another home in Lewisburg. The couple has visited Lewisburg many times in the past five years and will be selling their residential home in Oregon and plan to buy a home in Lewisburg sometime this year.
The investment property that we closed on today is a well maintained three bedroom, two bath home with hardwood and carpeted floors. All appliances convey including washer and dryer. The house has an eat-in kitchen, separate laundry room, sliding glass doors to a nice back deck, a covered front porch, and a large two-car garage. A big plus is that the property is located just minutes from downtown Lewisburg and is move-in ready.
The buyers will be heading back to Oregon on Friday. Good news for them, we may have the house rented at $1350 a month.
