ANOTHER PLEA....................

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Referral Group Incorporated

I am so very sick about all of the pets that are being euthanized because many shelters are closed and there just aren't enough people to care for the animals. Everyone is off their game now. You may not want to be a pet parent forever but if you are able to save a dog or cat now I urge you to do so. The simple truth is that if all the pets in shelters are not fostered they will die. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE FOSTER if you can! End of story.........but let it not be the end of lives.

My Gang........also says PLEASE FOSTER.

Hi Sheila Anderson - so thankful for who care for the animals and fostering is a great way if you can commit forever.

Hello Grant. Fostering isn't forever, it just gives the animals a chance to find a forever home.   TY    Sheila

It is heartbreaking to think what can happen to pets when they aren't adopted or fostered.  Here in Sacramento we often have free adoptions to seniors.  It helps assist in clearing out shelters.

Hi Myrl. I think anyone who can should foster. It is often sponsored and costs only time. TY        Sheila

Sheila- it breaks my heart when I see people who don't do a good job of securing their pets at home and then they end up out on the streets.

the two shelters near me both are now connected to the jails and inmates are caring for the animals.  Inmates aren't having visitors.  When this occured the only time an animal in the two local counties is put down now is when it has biten someone and been taken into custody for that reason or when one comes back positive for rabies when it's screened.  So for the most part our shelters are no kill now.  I still drop off food regularly.

Morning Sheila.

Your gang looks very content.  I know our shelters are grateful, for all the people who are adopting/fostering the fur babies.

Thanks Tammy. Good news for you on that. I was hoping you would be fostering now but I guess with watching Cooper it isn't time yet.   Sheila

Good morning Sheila. I remember reading (or hearing) that many of the animals were fostered. And neither of the shelters here euthanize.

Hello Sheila - it's understandable to feel sick or uneasy about pet euthanasia and your plea is obviously heartfelt but there are those who can/do step forward to help in many ways.  Supporting their thoughts/efforts and appreciation for all they do is yet another way to show ones kindness.  And that is always possible.  Thanks for caring.
