Recently, we took a long walk at the Carpinteria Bluffs. Pictured above is a favorite Eucalyptus tree. This one grows horizontally after having been felled down by winds and rain storms. It is for us a testament of Nature's survival skills.
Our main purpose was to visit the Seal Rookery from the top of the Bluffs. According to the Fish and Game volunteer 46 new pups were born so far this new year. More pups were on their way. It is always a joy for us to be here surrounded by nature.
"In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful."
Alice Walker
"Nature is pleased with simplicity. And nature is no dummy."
Sir Isaac Newton
"I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees."
