This morning when I opened my front door, my friend from the other day was back. He/she actually startled me because of being so close. I went in the house, grabbed my camera and viola.......here we are.
So here is what I saw. Beautiful little one isn't it? I thought so.

I use to have a few lop eared rabbits as pets. For the most part they weren't in pens. They had the run of my backyard. There was Johann and Cindy Lopear. The pair were supposed to be both males, but it turned out Cindy, who at first was named Charlie, was a female instead. We learned that a month later when she had a litter of bunnies. We tried keeping her in a hutch and a way from Johann to prevent another litter. But, that was just after she became pregnant again. Did you know that rabbits can breed within 12 hours of giving birth? Then Johann ate through the wooden hutch divider between his and Cindy's side of the hutch. Yep, you guessed it. . .More babies! We renamed Johann, to Johump. However, we found a vet that neutered Johump, and we then just called him, Jo (prounounced "Yo"). That's when the two of them completely had the run of my backyard. I still have fond memories of all of them. And, boy are they good (too good) at pruning things!

Wow Myrl. That is some story. Hard to take it all in frankly. I can't imagine there weren't many more bunnies given the numbers of babies and their proclivity to reproduce again and again. My head hurts. Thanks for stopping by. Sheila
