Yesterday I called my cousin to check in on her and her family in New York City. They are all fine and hanging in while doing the best they can. Unfortunately, she told me about her friend who called to say she had lost her partner to this virus. He was older and health compromised but he died alone in a New York City hospital. How very sad. Now, no funeral is possible and my cousin's friend is all alone and can not be comforted except by phone. I am so sad hearing this. It's time to get serious about this, and finally get supplies to everyone and make sure that all people in this country stay in until we can get things under control.
Sheila,
Sorry to hear about your cousin's friend. What a nice photo you shared with us. Enjoy your Sunday. A

Sorry to hear about your cousin's friend. Many sad stories happening. Our job is to stay strong, stay home and we're all in this together. We began flying the American Flag every day now. Americans are strong, resilient and know how to over come even the biggest obstacles like this one. We will make it through this. We will - together.

Hi Anna. Ater Sept. 11th I have gone through three flags. Recemtlt the attachment came away from my home and I don't have the tool to fix it. I hope I will find something. TY Sheila
Hi Sheila Anderson - just reading this makes me said. As you know New York has one of the highest infections with New Rochelle as the Epic center which is not far from me.

Hi Grant. I know you were close to New Rochelle. I am sad too. Be well and thanks for stopping by. Sheila
It is sad that no funeral will be had. I have a friend that passed away from cancer recently and being that the church is closed, I doubt there was a funeral Mass for him.

Sheila- that is so sad and I'm very sorry to hear of this. To know that you are not able to be with a close one or friend during this time has to be unbearable.

Sadly it's just not possible for everyone to stay "in". My daughter and her husband can't stay in. And I keep Cooper when they both work on the same day so I can't stay in. My husband can't stay in. Frankly the only people in my family staying "in" are my parents and they are on day 15 I think.

Morning Sheila.
Around my area people are keeping that social distance. I have to go to the office today, but I'll be wearing gloves and have hand sanitizer on hand

That is sad news, Sheila. Yesterday, I learned 3 members of my family likely have coronavirus. They are not hospitalized, but are quarantined at home. Doctors and nurses have told them they cannot get tested unless they are hospitalized. Reno, Nevada must not have received many of those gazillion test kits we keep hearing about!
