As I was thinking for the moment, my thoughts were triggered by Michael Jacobs and his pondering! My thought for the moment reflects my daily routine of “working from home.”
I call what I do semi-retirement because I continue to plug away at marketing every day. I’ll admit that recently my thoughts have been elsewhere!
However, for those of you who have not created a plan for exiting from the profession, this might be the ideal time for you to experience what you’ll be encountering if you begin retirement with semi-retirement by marketing for others.
There’s discipline involved, along with focus. During this period of “staying home,” it’s a good opportunity for those who are fully active in the real estate business to test the “working from home” venue.
Test it out!! Have a game plan in place for the next few weeks. Market your business, as you would if you were working in your office. Track your hours, and what you’ve accomplished for marketing materials.
Yes, this is just a thought for the moment….
