Through the COVID-19 uncertain times in the residential real estate market, my clients need me more than ever to keep informed about the constantly changing national, regional and local rules and regulations, proclamations and advisories and how it affects them. They want to be reassured that I'm there to answer questions especially about how we proceed in the near term and down the road.
Marketing has changed, especially here on the Monterey Peninsula. Where we had a high influx of visitors and "open houses", we now have to do an even better job of attracting buyers virtually.
Walking through Carmel-by-the-Sea's commercial district yesterday to my office -- and, yes, as an "essential" business I can now do that as long as I keep socially distant -- I saw some "for rent" signs in windows including real estate brokerage offices. The meaning is clear, they do not expect to attract walk-in traffic any time soon.
With even brokerages retracting or shuttering their brick-and-mortar offices, it is a sign of the times to come.
But not Rothwell Realty:
Rothwell Realty is a boutique brokerage where we can "turn on a dime" to do what's best for our clients. We are ramping up our marketing!! Not retracting but looking forward to the next few months.
My real estate clients are like family to me and I will do everything I can to protect them from the outfall of COVID-19.
Stay safe,
Hella
