Today more than ever, people need time outdoors to safely enjoy nature. Physical distancing of six feet is required between people during this time of "shelter in place" designed to "flatten the curve" of the spread of Coronavirus 19, also known as COVID-19 and SARS-2.
Yet thank God there is no law against walking outside in one's own family group to enjoy nature. Hence the serendipitous timing of "National Take A Walk In The Park Day" on March 30.
During one's walk, take the opportunity to capture a beautiful photograph, compose an original poem, or enjoy an uninterrupted conversation. The chance to lose track of time and wave at a familiar face could occur, too. When taking a walk in the park, all sorts of pleasant surprises may blossom.
One of the easiest days to observe, on National Take A Walk In The Park Day, a person celebrates by simply going outside for a walk in the park. Use #TakeAWalkInTheParkDay to post on social media.
