Joan Cox hi Joan... I've been watching my neighbors all "busy as bees" spiffing up their yards these past few days... often just to have an excuse to get out of the house. But the bonus is a pretty yard once they are done.

Brian England hi Brian... homes that neglect their curb appeal always pay the price at some point.

Hello Nina - the reasons to improve one's curb appeal has many benefits. Aesthetically pleasing is good regardless of any decision to move. Therapeutic is yet another and the ability to express creativity is not one to overlook. Your plant guide is well-organized, helpful and offer some nice "eye candy".

Michael Jacobs hi Michael.. thank you. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a gardener... regardless of the circumstances. But I do know whom to call to boost my own curb appeal. Hopefully for those who like to dig around in the dirt... this will be helpful and an incentive to do so.

This is timely information to share. It is a good time to prepare home gardens.

Nina, this is when I miss having my own yard, and being able to plant. I plan to trim back some rose bushes, and dig up some weeds today.

Roy Kelley good morning, Roy... well, you probably know that gardening is not quite my metier.
But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the end results.
Joan Cox hi Joan... as you know, that's not quite my idea of fun. Right now I'm staying indoors as much as possible... the yellow pollen which I'm very allergic to has hit us hard and several weeks early this season.

Hi Nina- just because we're all staying at home doesn't mean we have to do nothing. If you're planning on selling your house, now's a good time to start getting it prepared to sell.

Kathy Streib hi Kathy... and even if you're not selling, who wouldn't enjoy a lovely yard since they are at home so much right now?
Our development only allows residents to plant annuals, and I have a couple of pots on my patio that I can plant up as well.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 hi Nick... we have some communities, as well, that are quite restrictive when it comes to planting. But the majority of them pretty much let people do what they want when it comes to plants.
Nina,
I love gardens, and I love Spring and Summer Plants...so many beautiful colors, and I love watching my roses unfurling...Curb appeal is wonderful. A

Nina the first impression of a house is very important, and having beautiful plants and flowers goes a long way in making sure the first impression is a positive one.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel hi Alexandra... I love all that, myself. I just don't love making it happen! With the shelter in place orders in NC until April 29th, it was interesting for me to see just how many more of my neighbors were out there these past few days sprucing up their yards instead of relying on their landscape companies. Can't say I did anything, but I did have some nice chats over the fences with neighbors!
George Souto hi George... home sellers often don't realize how important that first impression of a home is to buyers... and that includes landscaping, condition of a home's exterior, outdoor lighting, etc.
Hi Nina - is is a great time to start doing that here in Armonk, NY. The weather is getting nicer.

Grant Schneider hi Grant... weather here has been gorgeous... sunny and warm. It's been sunny today but temps dropped to below 60 so it's somewhat cooler.
I have been keeping busy while not prospecting and writing hand written notes on projects; I have been putting off for years. Plants are starting to bud and now
could use attention. Thank you for adding to my list 🤓

i know my wife plants some new flowers every year. She also has some that blooms each year. What they are, I have no clue, but she does and that makes her happy, which in return, makes me happy

I love this on so many levels. Great idea to put this time to good use and prepare the landscaping to impress buyers. I love the graphic too!

Hi Nina:
That's a great idea and there are multiple benefits - for the house, your mood and health, and your neighbors! While we have flowers year-round those in the spring are some of my favorites!
That's a terrific graphic!

Jeff Dowler, CRS good morning, Jeff, and thanks. For me personally, digging around in dirt does nothing for my mood. I hate it. :) But I do like to see the results after someone has done it for me.
Year 2 for my poppy seeds and they are everywhere this year. I'm excited to see them bloom!
