What I Learned This Week at ActiveRain-March 29 to April 4, 2020
I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series, I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that lightbulb moment. It could be something techie, something about Real Estate or the other professions that I never knew, about a place, or about a person. Or, it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!
March 29: Li Read Nobody Likes Change…
We live in a world that changes daily and I’m not talking about just the changes now. Li makes some excellent points.
Joan Cox Is It Sunday?
Time for some laughs!!!! We could all use this.
March 30: Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD And now for some good news...
Ok, I had to highlight this even though I'm sure you've seen this somewhere. But this brought a huge smile to my face and I hope you'll head to Debb and Bernie's post and laugh with them.
March 31: Mimi Foster Beware COVID-15
There's nothing wrong with smiling or laughing now. Goodness knows we need it. Mimi also offers some advice.
April 1: Rob Spinosa The New Normal
We're all concerned about the health implications with COVID-19 but we're also concerned about the economic impact.
Nick Vandekar Now is not the time to be reactive.
Another gentle reminder that we are all in this together. Not the time to point fingers or make it political but to ask yourself what can I do to help. Not the time to whine about lost trips or vacations but to think of those who are sick or in need of financial help.
April 2: Nina Hollander Are You Stuck or Are You Safe? Random Thoughts...
Interesting thoughts from Nina. Once again...our attitude can make all the difference.
Dorie Dillard Thankful Thursdays -Marvel at All That Love
Let's share the love. The solemn video rally isn't. Watch it to the end.
April 3: Marte Cliff Should We Keep Trying to Earn a Living? (dumb question)
If you're trying to determine how to market in this time we're in, Marte may have ideas for you.
April 4: Paula McDonald ZOOM Tips for Successful Video Conferencing.
So many of the posts I've read over the past week or so have talked about using Zoom or something similar to conduct business or have a social meetup with their family. Paula offers some very helpful tips.
Don’t forget to check out Carol Williams Second Chance Saturday posts as well!!! I always find several posts that I’ve missed.
Thank you for letting me do what I love doing...learn something new and interesting every day!
