The latest emergency order by the Texas Supreme Court on March 19, 2020 is as follows: "Texas Supreme Court has blocked most eviction hearings and trials for one month across the state."

Furthermnore "No eviction proceedings will be allowed in justice of the peace courts until after April 19, though evictions for imminent threat of physical harm or criminal activity can proceed, according to the late Thursday order from the state’s highest civil court."

Our nation has learned its lessons in the past with regards to issuing mortagages. Many regulations have occurred since the days of 2007 - 2010 and qualified buyers have been successfully buying property in Texas. Prior to 2007, there were many people without jobs, or just beginning work who were approved for loans with no money down.... sad days followed. 

You would be surprised how much wealth has been acquired by people (especially two income families) in most recent healthy financial and economic years. There are people in need of selling and there are more people qualified to pay without "creative" financing that was used during the previous mortgage crisis. Lenders have been held to higher standards and accountability than years past.

Nina Hollander - I didn't want to leave my patio this morning. The clouds were so gorgeous! There was a choir of birds and gentle breezes. I only turned to go back inside because I had a 9:00 conference call. When I saw the rainbow, I was awe struck. It was a gratifying sight to behold!!!

I have a feeling, there's a new tune in your head  today - thanks to Buffalo Springfield with a little nudge from me!

Michael Jacobs - It depends.... The majority of my clients are very faith driven and professionals from all over the broad spectrum of careers. Many affiliates are too. For example, one has a small plane and every December, he flies over areas where children are poverty stricken and delivers toys. An Inspector that I know very well and several past clients go on their own Missionary Trips and share their wealth with others. Some are doctors and nurses and volunteer with Doctors Without Borders. The list goes on and on. 

I appreciate your curiosity and asking me that question.

Hannah Williams - Personally, I have missed you on AR and I know it was no fault of your own. All I can say is, thank God you're back! You bring unique perspective, guidance, and hope. Over the many months of MIA, you have been missed. I consider you to be a vital member of this Platform. I would encourage every newbie and those who don't follow you, to do so. After all, you didn't get that title "Ambassador" from ActiveRain for no reason. Hannah, I believe in you, what you stand for, and all the goodness you represent. I also wish you safety, good health, success, and the love of past clients and referrals to flow your way. And I know, you welcome all.
