Real Estate Broker/Owner with people first...then business Ran Right Realty 636943 licensed to thrill

I have preached what I am about to share for years and some believe it prudent and entertaining others cute and not a problem yet here it is for you NOW to assess. Remember the game musical chairs where they take lets say 10 chairs facing in alternating directions, 12 people and music? The instructions are to circle the chairs while the music plays and when music STOPS...grab a chair. If not, you are out of the game....

Now, they remove a chair and the music starts again. There will always be more people than chairs and at random one by one, a person is eliminated. This is repeated until there is one chair and two people. Last one standing has won the game but oh so many losers on the way. Here is the question to ask about your life....

WHERE ARE YOU? (start of game)

When you were thriving, getting things done & well into your routine did you pay any attention to what would happen if the music (routine) was to stop? The majority of people pay little or none with exceptions. How about when there was a disruption your affairs? Something unplanned. Did that slow you down long enough to take a look and make necessary changes? That is what it is there for i.e. to reassess

Some of us if not all paid full attention when our affairs came to an abrupt halt. We saw this in 2008 when Real Estate crashed and wiped out equity, purchases, savings and jobs to follow. The music stopped and we found ourselves wanting to get back into the game but when? How?

Corona-virus has taking over the game altogether & made it real life. The music (normal existence) has stopped & our routine (the chairs) have been removed. Instead of being in coming & going mode we are now in a reactionary-pause mode one being driven by cause & effect. Our normal is now paused.

Who knows today what it was like to experience the great depression or the scarcity of goods during the rationing period of the world war two? Rainy day fund concept funds (putting away money) was over-taken by instant credit with debt. Borrowing and paying back in time was and is the norm. But not for long...

When the market crashed in 1929, we did a: no wonder it crashed assessment. People were able to purchase stock without having the money to do so. If the stock went up, you could repay what you owed and keep the profit. Anyone could do it until "the music stopped", the chairs were removed and there was not place to sit

During 2008 Real Estate crash, many did not purchase nor borrow & consequently escaped the turmoil. Today, debt is now claiming you, income has fled or is reduced & uncertainty is making the rounds. However, there are those that put away funds, have little or no debt & can sight their light at tunnel end

SBA - Disaster Loan Assistance (click on this) is offering loans and grants to Real Estate agents and others and even giving money immediately once the application is filled out, verified and approved. Unemployment insurance is also available, pays well and probably will extend helping the many. Now is the time to go lean and prepare for the future. Meanwhile the government is going subsidize it all

Renters are being sheltered in place without fear of evictions and banks have put-off the threat of foreclosing at least for weeks or months. The food supply chains are up and running. Health-care is running optimum with costs waived (co-pays, deductibles) and treatment administered freely for those that need

It's the pause, the interruption of our routines, comfort zones and planning all running on automatic until the virus pulled the plug. The pursuing chaos is us trying to establish new footing, assess our positions and put into place the next steps. This is in us to do and let not fear or do too much thinking. Focus for now

Now people will save money, want to work, apply smarter not harder approaches, invest wisely and assess what is important as well necessary versus fun, distraction and excitement. A balance is being submitted to change for the better and it is being done on a global level. Apply it to your own circumstances. Be open

America has a background of not only surviving and winning but nurturing within ourselves to improve and sustain as we go. We have so much successful history and it looks like we are heading toward our roots. Manufacturing, jobs, self-sufficiency, basically our collective betterment is getting ready to take-off. All Americans while inconvenienced are being primed to once again prosper & continue to live the American way. Until then, negotiate your way and have faith

It was like we were in the middle of  a game, then they changed every rule.  The American way, when the rules change, we change.  We too are lucky and have diligently been working off any debt.  Still, I will be glad when the rules get back to normal (or near normal).  Thank you for picking a game I understood.  ;o)
