Thankful Thursday: Grateful that Spring Is Here!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

Spring is here, and another one of our roses opened up.  We are rejoicing at the bluest blue skies we are blessed with since traffic is minimal.

We are enjoying walking by blooming gardens, like this one with bearded irises. They are my favorites in the Iris category.  We are thankful for all the beauty that surround us...

"Let us love winter for it is the Spring of Genius"

Pietro Aretino (Italian poet 16th Century)

"I had always planned to make a large painting of the early spring, when the first leaves are at the bottom of the trees, and they seem to float in space in a wonderful way. But the arrival of Spring can't be done in one picture."

David Hockney, American Artist

Hi Ron and Alexandra- My neighbor in Northern VA had bearded irises and I loved to stare out the window at them.

Nothing like Spring. As I walked in the woods this morning I was looking at the grasses, and they have this color which is only there in Spring, a fresh new green, not sullied, or darkend by storms or heat.

That's a beautiful photo, Alexandra.  The blossoms are so sharp and clear.  I'm really grateful for spring too.  It has brought several days of wonderful sun, which I have made certain to take advantage of.

Funny you should say yes Spring was overshadowed by the events surrounding us. Diane finally took the winter table cloth off the table and packed the pine cones away until next time:))Endre

Good morning, Alexandra... my favorite season -- spring. My mother loved irises and whenever I see them I think of her. We, too, have been enjoying some beautiful clear blue skies here in Charlotte... nothing quite like it to put one into a happy mood. Happy Friday.

Hello Alexandra and Ron - we have experienced some pretty amazing skies recently.  A great backdrop for Spring and the gardens/landscape as well as the architecture of Southern California.

Michael Jacobs yes we have.  My thinking is that we should learn from this and celebrate Earth Week in the future by minimizing travel, etc...like those days when on Sundays everything was closed...A
