Not everyone understands the main advantages of CNC router. The rapid development of technology leads to the fact that even competent specialists do not always understand how much the methods of modern production have changed. A vivid example is the evolution of a numerically controlled machine.
The most common types of CNC routers include wood CNC machines and aluminum CNC machines.
Computers improved rapidly, and with them, the methods of control over the release of various products changed. The main advantages of a modern CNC routers are:

A numerically controlled machine provides an increase in productivity, but only in cases where the entire production cycle is built considering the use of such equipment. The use of single devices, in the absence of an automation system as a whole, is far from always justified. If you have to drag and install manually from one processing station to another product, and conventional machines and CNC devices are mixed in the technological line.
A decrease in the number of people involved in the production process does occur. Previously, equipment with numerical control had to periodically adjust and reconfigure, and even there was a special position for the installer. Modern machines use self-diagnosis and automatic machining systems, which make human intervention optional. In any case, automated production systems increase productivity and reduce the number of personnel involved in the production only when used correctly.
The main benefit of using posts where several stages of processing are performed at once is the absence of the need to move parts along the workshop between machines. Time and energy are spent less. Neither additional space nor mechanisms are needed to transport products and materials.
All this is great, if not for certain shortcomings. Due to the complexity of the design, the accuracy of such equipment and the total resource is lower than that of highly specialized devices. In the joints of the heads for fixing the tool and devices for moving them there are backlashes, which cannot be eliminated. For manufacturing precision parts, a universal CNC machine is not suitable.
Do not be mistaken and believe that any machines with numerical control systems increase the accuracy of manufacturing parts. Talking about this as an indispensable advantage should not be. Automation of the manufacturing process of parts per se does not guarantee compliance with tolerances and landings.
Reducing the costs of designing and manufacturing equipment directly depends on the technological level of the equipment and the nature of the tasks to be solved with its help. Modifications of the old type are still on sale, requiring additional settings and changing storage media. They are obsolete.
