For two decades Sundays have been my family day. They are that one day a week that I set aside everything... from cleaning and meal prep to work and school prep. Typically it is our one day out and we enjoy to it's mostest. Now more than ever, when the days can run into one another because we are home all the time and the day to day activities mix together from morning until night we have to be specific in our time outs for Sunday Fundays.
So I am putting together list of things that we 'might' do on Sunday:
* Sundays we always spend with our church family. This week we catch up with them online.
* We are likely going to find a park for a hike and look for a handful of rocks to take home. We have been eyeing all the pretty painted rocks and have had the paints to try it for awhile now. This week there are a couple of rainy days coming and having the resource would put us in a place of trying something new and being ready for it.
* The kid has been wanting to spend some time in the kitchen baking. He's been eyeing cookies or a homemade cake. It might be a great day for some fun in the kitchen.
* Tomorrow night we might drag out the air mattresses and set them up in front of the tv, make some popcorn, turn off the lights early and have a Muppet Movie Marathon. We figured that might be a good giggle to start the week.
How do you spend your Sundays? Do you spend them at home? Do you spend them out?
