During this season, all of us can use some positivity. We have changed our usual normal to a new normal. Some like it and most I know are frowning on it because they feel that they are on house arrest. No matter how we feel, it's best that we learn to adapt at least for now and be in good spirit.
Let's talk about this virtual world for me: As a Broker, I was not doing the webinars, on-line trainings, etc. We did our lunch and learn workshops every Wednesday at the office. We did our buyer's consultation at the office or wherever the agent decided to meet the clients. Those were just two meetings that I mentioned. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I am like other companies that are going to shift their business model if they hadn't already switched their business virtually. I believe they will recognize from shifting to virtual how much money they can save and still run their business effectively. This is a time I wish that I would have gotten some stock in zoom.
Here are some good deeds that I have done:
I have called most of my agents and will call the reminder next week
I started a 15-minute motivational call to let my agents know they are not alone and to encourage, inspire, and motivate them
I reached out to other agents outside of K1 Realty Group to see if they needed anything
I purchased an old client some items from the grocery store
I reached out on FB, called, and text to check in with a few of my old clients
I went to the store for the elderly
I have sent out funny videos with me dancing and singing which I am terrible at to others for laughter
I make myself available to listen and have conversations with my agents about any topic. They know without a shadow of doubt I am with them all the way
One of my agents needed sanitizer and I was able to provide her with some
One of my mentees came over with her family and prepared dinner for me
and my husband. That was a blessing for us.
Here is a video that I did last week to share some ideas on doing some random acts of kindness. From that video, my agents are being mindful to pour joy, giving and love.
We will get thru. We stand together as a real estate nation and come out strong. I know this is different from the real estate crash some years ago; but it was a major catastrophe directly to us agents and we survived.
I close with - pray, do good, think positive, stay focused, continue to work, spend time with family, smile, give, and love. If you can do that, then you will continue to be the light that shines that people need to see NOW. You can make the difference in changing the world.
