Atlanta Buckhead Midtown -
CDC - Face Masks For Everyone -

In Atlanta Buckhead Midtown and the Westside, everyone wants to stay as safe as possible.

Watch the US Surgeon General, Jerome M. Adams, M.D., M.P.H., demonstrate how to make yourself a mask -- no sewing required -- easily accomplished. Be safe and protect others.

These are NOT MEDICAL GRADE masks -- let's protect ourselves and leave the medical grade masks for the professionals to use. They need them most!

Other sources for DIY mask patterns include:

Using a bandana and hair elastics

Sarah Maker* offers written and YouTube instructions

Instructions in Spanish: Nasobuco  Hacerlo     Lavarlo

*NOTE: Sarah Maker stated that "Researchers at Cambridge University tested the effectiveness of a wide range of household materials for use in homemade masks. They measured how well the household materials could capture and filter small particles. Test data shows that the best choices for DIY fabric masks are cotton t-shirts, pillowcases, or other cotton materials. Using a double layer of material for your DIY mask adds a small increase in filtration effectiveness.
Other research has found that most effective masks were constructed of two layers of heavyweight “quilters cotton” with a thread count of at least 180, and had a thicker and tighter weave."

We are still working at Atlanta Homes ODAT Realty.
Call us at 404-939-2727 for a LIVE video tour of any home.

We always offered private live video tours so our experience makes it easier for us to show homes now. We want to protect our Buyer Clients during the Search process while all of us reduce contacts to confront the spread of COVID-19.
How does it work? You stay at home, direct the tour room to room as I walk around. After the virtual tour, when you are ready, give me a call to visit the home. We supply gloves for you when you walk around by yourself.   All the best, Lynn - 404-939-2727

We also have been advised to use facemasks, walking yesterday I allowed mine to drop when no one was nearby, but if I saw others in the distance I attached it in place. Sure we will see some very attractive masks.

I think everyone should have a  mask on if they go outside now.  We all need to stay in or wear a mask.

Morning Barbara.

While I can't predict the future, what I can tell you is that, once this has died down, I will have a supply of masks, hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray.

The right Charlotte REALTOR!

Thanks for the re-blog, Barbara! Funny thing but, early March we were preparing for a cruise on 3/14. I purchased some cloth masks as well as some disposable ones (no N95's but, similar). My husband thought I had lost my mind and shortly thereafter, the CDC was telling everyone NOT to wear masks. I stood my ground - WHY NOT? It CAN protect us!

He told me yesterday that he shouldn't have laughed at me last month and FINALLY tried on his mask for a trip to the dentist today!! Of course, had the CDC not said we should be wearing them now, he'd still be laughing at me! LOL
