1) Buyers and Sellers need to R-E-A-D the agreements they enter into.
2) Professional Real Estate Agents/Lenders will explain all documents to you thoroughly.
3) Do Not fall for the "This is a standard agreement" explanation. Question what you don't understand.
4) Never hesitate to contact an attorney if you are uncertain, or suspect, of terms in the agreement.
5) Remember, the only "Dumb Question" is the question that was never asked.
6) Ask the Agent/Lender for references and how much experience they have.
7) Patience is a virtue. A true professional will help you, not sell to you.
