I would like to commend FedEx-Kinko's for it's dedication to constantly improving operations. Even in a weak economy FedEx-Kinko's continues to open new branches and diversify services. For example, several full service branches have expanded package drop off time from 3:30 or 4:30 to 7:00pm, for deliveries on the west coast. This is a major nugget for me since most of my clients are located in southern California.

I accepted a closing at 2pm yesterday from a new client which was scheduled for 4pm. The client contacted me at 9:45am this morning after receiving the package and wanted to know how I had performed such a miracle. I explained that it was a case where the timing was right. She stated she was impressed and would contact me in the "near" future. For the first time, I was grateful for sticking to my business model of booking each loan signing appointment within a 2 hour block. This potential client is a major one.

I am Tennessee and they are not picking up that late, nor are they totally reliable in their delivery.

We are still hunting a package they just left on a doorstoop (saying it was mine) that required a signature--which they did not get.

We're partial to UPS, since our company has a house account with a downtown UPS Store. But we do use FedEx Kinko's sometimes as well. We can do drops off up to 8pm for UPS and about that same time for FedEx. Our customers love that we can do this for them, like with your customer J.D. it's the little things that make all the difference. : D

I've driven to the airport to make final FedEx/UPS drop off deadlines.

Clients are always very appreciative. Most become loyal repeat clients.

If you can find a drop off box near the borrower(s) home or if you know the signing location early enough, you can schedule a pick up at the borrower(s) home and you can really impress a client.

I am surprised (CA deliveries only), that more title, lender, or escrow companies don't use this company called "California Overnight?" They pick up their drop boxes at 9:00 pm?

I like FedEx a lot and they have provided great service over the 6 years I have been a notary.

I have a UPS Store across the street and they are great. I walk the docs over there and give my dogs and myself a walk.

We are limited on California Overnight drop boxes here in Northern California. Most are out of my way.

I will test scheduling pick ups at the borrower home, when hired directly by a borrower for loan mods.

I am a big fan of FedEx. They are more reliable than UPS in Ohio. More than half the time, I cannot even get necessary supplies from the UPS store or drop boxes nearby. FedEx always has supplies, and the store accepts Saturday drops until 3:00 P.M. for Monday delivery. This is very helpful for after 4:00 P.M. closings on Fridays.
