Since we are all bunkered down for the remainder of the month, with a large question mark looming over May, it seems appropriate to figure out how to fill the time this April. Many people working from home are in their 4th week of quarantine and should have a handle on the daily life by now. If you have exhausted many options that were fun a few weeks ago, here are some recommendations for further activities to help bolster local life. After all, we still want to be a Highlands Ranch property management community event watch, even in times where events have been canceled out into July.

The biggest way to support your local restaurants, anywhere in the state, is to first and foremost order pick up or delivery options. Restaurants are handling orders with minimal staff, and have contactless options if you need. Chances are, the restaurant you go to the most has adopted some policy like this. Beyond that, the organization Feeding America is distributing over 4 billion meals to local food banks during this crisis. Donating to them will allow you to target your local food banks easier and provide any level of support you are comfortable with. Remember, it may not seem like much, if you donate a low dollar amount, but just know that many millions of people are also donating a small amount as well. These numbers are adding up quickly.

If you are interested in seeing a museum that you can’t quite get to right now, consider checking out Google Arts & Culture. They are putting over 2500 museums and art galleries online for you to browse right at your computer. Now, this can never replace the real thing, but the quality is not bad and the selection is quite vast. You can view current selections from exhibits in picture form. These are not virtual tours of the museums themselves, but a way to see the art within without an entry fee, or a plane ticket to another state for that matter.

We will return to full Highlands Ranch property management local events once they resume. For now, stay safe everyone.

Kevin, I am ready to get back to the office!  I have prepared a 6 months worth of marketing in 3 weeks, go for 1.5 hour walk each day  and cleaned everything in the house. Thanks for some ideas!
