Happy Easter Sunday 2020. This is a special day my family and I look forward to each year. The day normally starts out with all of us going to Church. Once Church Services, and Bible Class are over we all head to my house for a special lunch/dinner. However, this year as a result of the COVID-19 Virus we will not be getting together, and Church Services will be by a ZOOM Meeting.
Even though there will not be physical family time, we will be be talking with my oldest son, Matthew, his wife Ashley, and my gorgeous granddaughter Elizabeth by FaceTime, and watch my granddaughter Elizabeth open up the gifts and candy we sent her. Also yesterday my wife and I drove to my youngest son's, Brandon, and his wife Leah's condo, and delivered an Easter Basket for them. We left the basket at the front door and then stepped back and talked to them outside.
I always enjoy the special meal my wife so lovingly puts together, but it is the time we spend together as a family that truly makes this day an extra special day for me. But Even though the family time this year will be different than in past years, it will still be special, just in a different way.
So whether today is a day you celebrate as a Religious Day, or simply as a fun day with family, special friends, I hope it will be a very special day for you, and to those who are special to you. Try to not eat to much, or have to many chocolate bunnies, or Easter Eggs.
