Many of us are parents with school-age children or are hunkered down with our grandchildren. Since many of us are staying home for the immediate future, we are always looking for ideas to keep them busy, learning and engaged.

In addition, Scholastic is offering free online courses for the kiddos when they are out of school.
If you are able to get out to do a family walk, many neighborhoods are pulling together to create some fun experiences. In many communities in Scottsdale and Greater Phoenix, kids are using chalk art to send positive messages and decorate the sidewalks in front of their homes.
Other communities are organizing "bear hunts" where homeowners put stuffed animals - mostly teddy bears, but others will do! - in their windows. Kids can then walk around on a "bear hunt" and count how many they see.
