I'm new here, and just wanted to introduce myself. I just moved to North Carolina from Orlando, a move we've been dreaming about for more than a decade.
When it comes to real estate, building and renovating, I am passionate about creating healthy homes for families. It comes from some serious health scares that I had when young that were brought about from the environment that I lived in. I had cancer when I was three years old, and then after a decade of being disabled was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Multiple Chemical Sensitivities, fibromyalgia and more.
While a house might not totally cause a health problem, it certainly can make it worse. I found that when I started to clean up my home from common problems, I felt better. When we rented other homes with problems such as mold, my health got worse.
Thankfully, I am 500% better today. And that's why I'm so thankful that I can help others, too.
Which is why I became a WELL AP, to guide people building and remodeling homes and commercial buildings to create environments that improve their health and not detract from it. I consult with people that are building new homes, buying homes and renovating existing homes to help them choose products and locations that are healthy for them.
I'm looking forward to learning more from everyone here. Thank you so much!
