eFlyer programs defined

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Multi Medium Marketing Inc
An eFlyer program is simply a means for Realtors to communicate with other Realtors about their listings! It is a marketing medium for the Realtors to the Realtors! It's the same with the paper real estate flyer programs. Some areas only want the eFlyer programs while others want and use the paper and eFlyer programs. It is only meant for those who do like and want to use the program. Apparently the majority of Realtors do want it or there wouldn't be an eFlyer services out there as any business is based on demand. Our customers have requested our eFlyer program and use it frequently. We are happy to provide any marketing medium that our clients ask of us! Then, we strive to make it better!

We probably get at least 10 of those a day. Most of the time, they go straight to recycle because there are just so many of them. It would be nice to be able to filter them, weed out say the commercial from the residential. Just my two cents.

Since you're not using permission based marketing, are you assuming because people haven't been bothered to opt-out, that they are in fact, endorsing eflyers?  If so, I think your findings are off base.  A true indicator of demand is to determine acceptance through an opt-in permisson-based marketing procedure.

Did you read these responses?

I haven't seen an agent yet post that the LOVE your services.  Those that pay you are the senders.  Its the recipients that don't like it.  I guess no one here wants to admit out loud that they spam.

Listing agents send eflyers because the are attempting to appease their sellers.  But this should not be done at the expense of the rest of us.

Hi Jacqulyn,

Thank you for your feedback. I would recommend that you call your local eFlyer company and share this VALID concern/idea with them. For us, we strive to put the most crucial info in the subject line. Since the Realtors in our area have been using more of the Virtual Tour programs, we have added that in our subject line so that everyone knows that the specific eFlyer has a Virtual Tour. That makes the difference sometimes on whether or not that eFlyer is viewed. In the subject line, we state if the eFlyer is a Home or Commercial listing. Here is a sample of our suject line:

VT/Area 123 $660K Lrg 4 Bdrm Estate on 5 VIEW Acres!

With a subject line like that, it's easy to sort through. Maybe you can let your local eFlyer company know what you would like to see to help you go through the ones you receive since they should want to hear what you have to say. We asked our clients what would help them and we use their advice. The subject line should be set up in such a way that you don't need to view every eFlyer. It should be understandable for you to see which ones you may want to look at by the subject line and delete the rest. It's the same with the paper flyers. It's meant to be a quick exchange of info for you to find the listings that you might have a client for.

Thank you for your comment and have a great day! Rose

The services we provide are services that our clients have asked for. In other words, our service is subscription based! Our customers have heard about our program and have asked to receive our eFlyers. We regularyly get new clients who are not on our email list and we put them on with their order.

The problem in our area is that agents just send these to agents in ALL areas, regardless of what areas we work. I get flyers from properties 50-60 miles away. That's what I hate about the eflyer service.

I simply don't want to be spammed by anyone.  I resent the intrusion on my space and time.  Don't sent me (what I consider) garbage just so you can "get the word out" about properties in areas I care nothing about from agents I don't know and certainly wouldn't recommend based upon their decision to spam me in the first place.

If recipients actually wanted it and appreciated getting it don't you think there would have been at least 1 or 2 defenders???

Although I get a ton of eflyers - I still like 'em. I was working with one buyer who was so hard to please. We looked everywhere. Nothing was right. He had his heart set on a hill where houses NEVER are listed. I got an eflyer late one evening advertising the first day of showings on a house on that hill. We were the first showing. We had a contract with us. It was accepted by the house's third showing later that afternoon. The Realtor who sent that eflyer, who is now the President of our local NAR chapter, still tells that story to show why he likes eflyers, too.
