Your Property Sold Change Your Address

When dealing with Real Estate details are so important.

Seller and Buyer need to update their mailing address. You can change your mailing address for the most part at no cost. When buying or selling a property in Gulf Shores, Alabama or Metairie, Louisiana remember to change your address with your Bank, Credit Card(s) and the Internal Revenue Service.

Click on this link Who is Moving This is the official USPS Change of Address form. There you will pick who is moving, Individual, Family or Business.

I would allow 10-14 days for the USPS to make the necessary change so that your mail will be forward accordingly.

If you don’t receive your mail as instructed you will have to go to the local USPS office.

Here is a YouTube video that explains the process of changing your mailing address using the USPS.

Great information, Frank Rubi

I have on numerous occasions picked up mail from a vacant listing of mine so that I can forward it to the owner at their new location. I have also instructed buyer's agents to ask their new owners of my listings to let me know if any mail comes for the previous owners. I would rather pick up the mail and forward it to my clients than have the new owners mark the mail "no longer at this address" and return it through the USPS system to the sender.
