Today’s View – April 24, 2020 – New Market, Md. 21774 – Detached Homes

This is a market report for existing detached homes in New Market, Md. 21774.  At the time of this report (04/24/2020) not including new construction 15 such homes are on the market FOR SALE, another 35 under contract, and 27 have sold in the last 30 days. The Absorption Rate (Active/30 day sold) is .55 which is considered a seller’s market.

Last week only 2 were added to the market, 11 went under some form of contract, and 2 successfully completed the sale process. 

While the minimum lot size is just .12 acres and the maximum lot size is 1.6 acres, the median is .23 acres.

 

Two Bedroom Home

Currently, there are no two-bedroom existing detached homes in New Market on the market for sale and none that have gone under any form of contract.

In the last 30 days, 1 two-bedroom existing detached homes in New Market that has successfully completed the sales process.  The home sold for $270,000 after being on the market for less than a week (3 days).

 

Three Bedrooms Home

Currently, there are 5 three-bedroom existing detached homes in New Market on the market for sale.  These homes range in price from a low of $280,000 to $499,000, with the median price being $400,000.  The days on market for these homes ranges from new to the market (4 days) to 3.5 months (105 days) with the median being 1.5 months (45 days).
