Saturday Smiles: Santa Barbara Farmers Market Colorful Displays!

By

It has been lovely here this week.  Our temperatures have been in the 80's and it feels like Summer is making its appearance for a while.  It is supposed to cool down to 78 today.  Lilacs are here (pictured above)!

On another stand these Sweet William flower combination could definitely be classified as eye candy!

And then, there were baskets of zucchini flowers.  Our last long lunch in Florence last May included zucchini flowers!

Marcie's pies are legendary, they are organic, made with the fruit she grows.  She also  bakes sugar free and gluten free varieties also.

We opted for a basket of strawberries instead! These were picked very early this morning, and they are irresistible.

Wishing you all an abundance of Saturday Smiles and a great Sunday as well.  Enjoy every moment!  Cheers, Ron & Alexandra

Hannah Williams We are oh, so blessed by living within walking distance of the beach.  We always cross over to the other side channel where the homes are accessible by a private. road, and walk approximately 3 miles each way.  I would love to visit an Amish Farmers Market.  I have so much respect for them.  A

Endre Barath, Jr. My parent's driveway had lilac bushes as a fence on the. property line.  We loved the scent as did our neighbors.  Here is a shot of those zucchini flowers, lightly battered in Florence...Yum, they were heavenly!

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD I like to buy those pies, when we are asked to bring desserts.  Making desserts other than carrot cake and chocolate cake are not my strong suit....These are always appreciated.  A

I love lilacs and the deep purple french lilacs have even a stronger fragrance. Everything looks either beautiful or scrumptious. Those strawberries look so fresh and so tasty.

There's always wonderful treats at your Santa Barbara Farmer's Market.  The sweetpeas caught my eye.  My dad always planted them on our back fence when I was a kid.
