John Klug, Chief Of Police, "Stop the Death"

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Ward County Notary Services

Minot's Chief of Police says let's "Stop the Death" from drug overdoses. There has been a rise in overdose deaths in our area and we need to take action now! In this 15 minute radio interview we cover a variety of subjects but none more important then the Chiefs plea to help save lives. I learned a lot, hope you do as well.

Minot Today is broadcast over two radio stations every Friday. You can find it on 106.9 FM at 12:15 (Noonish) and again at 4:45 on 1320 AM. Of course I always post the broadcast as a Podcast here as well as my Podcast site at Pod-O-Matic.

Congratulations on a great interview I hope shines a light. I've lost 3 people in my life to drug overdose and while all 3 were labeled suicide, I took issue with 2/3 as I felt it was accidental knowing the individuals as I did. I always have wondered.

So true Lise Howe . So many are dealing with this pandemic in even more destructive ways then the pandemic it self.

Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor e-Pro, CRS, RCS-D, Vets when ever I read the obits in the paper and it was a young person who died at home I wonder if it wasn't a drug overdose.

Thank you Ron and Alexandra Seigel  (A). I don't know if we will ever get it under control but in our own little worlds we can do our best by encouraging the ones we love by letting them know that they are loved and that they have great value to us.

I wonder, comparing flu/Covid-19 and drugs which one kills more people?  I know the answer

As you know James Dray it's not even close. I believe C-19 has taken 7 ND lives this year and drugs have taken more then that just here in little o'l Minot.

Hi Bob, great podcast and educating your community on what is going on. No one here is taking about the drug overdoses. This is the capital of drug recovery centers. What I have been hearing about is the rise in domestic violence and divorce during this pandemic.

Domestic violence is certainly up here as well Janice Zaltman but I have not seen a rise in divorce yet. I don't know why any woman would stick with a slime-ball who would strike her of verbally abuse her.

I'm sad about the situation but very glad your Police Chief is taking measures to curtail this problem. We need strong community voices to spread the word about moral values.

I agree with the message 100%. Early on in March when we were ordered to stay at home by the experts - Scientists, I was concerned and wrote on my neighborhood site about issues, such as leaving children home alone while parents go to work, abuse, drugs, alcohol, emotional distress, suicide, and other issues. Boy! Did I get a backlash from people and it wasn't nice at all. Well, here we are, and these social issues are exploding.

Thank you for saying what MANY people need to hear Endre Barath, Jr.  It's amazing how many citizens are so willing to give up the rights that cost so many their lives to receive and maintain them.
