Margaret Rome I would be remiss if I did not participate in your Active Rain Challenge. I have been on Active Rain longer than I can remember. Seriously ask Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089 when I joined! She was the first one to ever comment on my first blog post. I never forgot it, although the post was mediocre to lousy at best, she made me feel good. Here I am ten plus years later and I am on the first page of the Leaderboard go figure.
Over the years I found my voice and started actively participating and connecting with other Active Rain Members. Then as things changed such as ownership, management, the list goes on and on I saw some great friends and wonderful members fall to the wayside.
I would always reach out after a while and try to find out why they left and to see if I could entice them to come back to this great platform. Some I succeeded others I failed with. Keep in mind it was not motivated by the Active Rain Challenge.
When people ask me, what is Active Rain I always tell them it is a Social Media Platform for the Real Estate Community without the Political and Emotional drama of Face Book. As well as , without the nasty and hostile interaction of Nextdoor.
So, with that said anytime we lose a member I reach out, some have returned others have not. Recently I noticed that Evelina Tsigelnitskaya and Valeria Mola have fallen off the Active Rain platform. I reached out to one of them and not sure if I had anything to do with it but the main thing is they are both back. Does it matter if I had something to do with it? Not really , the main thing is they are back and adding value to the platform and if you do not follow them. Maybe you should check them out and get to know them both. They are wonderful contributors to the Active Rain community and you never know maybe you will get or give a referral and you will both benefit financially and emotionally as well.
