Barbara Todaro last year got rid of my Maytags for LG machines... never been happier. I had Maytag for years, but when we bought new Maytag machines for our current home when we built it in 2006, no one told me that they had been purchased by Whirlpool and that they were no longer the Maytag machines I'd known and loved for years.

Carol Williams our pollen arrived early this year. I cleaned off my front porch a couple of weeks ago, but still haven't gotten to the screened porch... hate that "job" so much.

Beth Atalay hi Beth... same here... but first people need to know what should be done whether they do it themselves or not. And I find an awful lot of deferred maintenance when speaking with prospective sellers.

Endre Barath, Jr. at least you can do that. I once sent my husband around the corner in Paris to pick something up from the grocer... he got lost for 45 minutes and came home with nothing. That should have been a 10 minute trip.

Then there was the time when I was in NYC visiting family when we lived in Abu Dhabi. In the middle of the night in NY he called me to ask how to heat something up. I told him to turn the oven on to 350 degrees and then put the dish in for 30 minutes. 15 minutes later, just as I was falling asleep again the phone rang again... it was Chris asking me which appliance was the oven! 

You couldn't make up this stuff! :)
