Good morning Debe. The wife and I have been very good at sheltering in place, but it is time to get out and smell the roses. No longer living in the south, no Freddies like James Dray! Enjoy your day!

Hello Debe - support for others can be demonstrated in many forms. You have shared some useful prescriptions that can be interpreted in each area/community. It can spread. in the best of ways. And it can truly grow exponentially.

There are so many ways to connect with others right now. We have been enjoying Facetime with our kids and grandkids. Always fun and festive, especially with kids involved. One of our grandson's kept trying to give us a kiss. So sweet.

Hi James Dray! Freddie's sounds like a Sonic (drive-up)?
We've been so good about staying at home but, we are not forbidden to get in our cars and do drive-throughs either. So, it feels great to get out, doesn't it?
Yes, we've been good about it too but, we are also in a single family community with a garage. We can easily get in our cars without passing anyone leaving their condo at the same time like you, Wayne Martin!
I would be extra cautious if I lived in a condo...and in your area!
Good Morning, Michael Jacobs! I have gotten almost as much response off-line from this 'series' on FB that I got with my daily updates when Ray was in Denver. It's been tremendous and to hear some of the comments, really does make me feel like I brought cheer to others days...and that's what life is all about, isn't it?

Mission accomoplished, Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS! I hope you'll try some of these and that they bring a bright spot to your days!
Oh my gosh, Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD, that is so precious! We have been spending a lot of Zoom time with family and friends as well and I'm telling you, on our laptops, you really do feel like you could lean in and give them a smooch! Technology is so amazing and for all of this, I am so very thankful.
Happy Friday!
Same here, Roy Kelley! We're having a great time putting these things to work for us to brighten our days. That and cooking, which I'm doing FAR too much of!

Hi Debe Maxwell, CRS - Thank you for the idea about sending a little gift or bakery item, etc. to some who live alone. Before becoming a REALTOR® in Sedona, I used to serve "meals on wheels" and serve lunch to seniors at our Rec Center. The smiles on the recipients' faces were all you needed to know you were doing a good thing.

Good afternoon Debe Maxwell, CRS - I think this is a great idea. I have not been out but would like to cook for some people.

Hey Debe you've given me some more great ideas! Love the flower idea for clients etc and the zoom parties. Love that! I know some of our folks would as well. As for bar hoping at home.....been there done that with some neighbors (in the proper way of course) and I'm sure it will happen again soon!

Hi Debe, Wow, such great ideas! I never knew being restricted could be so much fun. I plan to do another Zoom Happy Hour soon.

Debe- I've read some of your coronavirus hacks on Facebook and thought they were ingenious. You've been providing lemonade for the lemons we've been dealt!!! And I do remember reading how you bar-hopped in your home! Creative and memorable.

Roy Kelley, we have food delivery here and I have found that two of our 'specialty' stores always seem to have what we order. So, if I want to be sure I get all of the ingredients I need for a special recipe, I order from one of those stores!
We are trying to be 'over-protective' of our seniors, Sheri Sperry - MCNE®. And, they are so very appreciative of everything we do for them.
We read the other day that at this juncture, no one has been infected via the GI system (contaminated foods), Grant Schneider. I think it's great therapy to cook for others - and they benefit from your generosity too!

Hi George Souto! I told a group of girlfriends about the honey-do contractor and they had a duck fit! Oh my gosh - you'd think we'd all sat down for dinner together...and hugged hello and good-bye!
I had to reassure them that we were all conscious of safe distancing and disinfecting surfaces - OF COURSE WE WERE! LOL
Thank you, Anna Banana Kruchten Arizona's Top Banana!! Oh, I loved the bar-hopping - and the trip to grab lunch and eat at the lake. We need to do something special this weekend...the wheels are turning!
Hope you guys have a lovely weekend.

It's so true, Sharon Lee - I know a lot of people that would be absolutely miserable without technology right now!
Enjoy your weekend!
Thank you, Bob Crane! Hey, not attending Closings, no home showings, no in-person listing appointments - I had all the time in the world to reach out to my sphere (whether by phone or Zoom), do double marketing and come up with some creative things to put smiles on others faces!
It was actually more peaceful to me than I thought it would be. Being a workaholic-people-person, I wasn't sure I could stay sane not being able to leave home!

I so appreciate you following and commenting on my hack posts, Kathy Streib! It's been fun challenging myself to come up with something to put smiles on readers' faces and help families and small businesses along the way.
Stay tuned!!
It’s important to find parts in this time especially and kind of inventory that to pass time And come out of this fulfilled.

Reading your blog I sit here staring at the first sunny day in a while. I have not tried Zoom yet Debe Maxwell, CRS . Things are slow and I am feeling blue. I have been doing the shopping for my parents and a few other seniors who needed help. It lets me fill my day. They are so appreicative. Reading your blog gives me some inspiration.

Friendly, Motivating, Inspirational, Positive and WOW! So many great things and communication uplifting your sphere! Enjoyed reading. Thank you Debe Maxwell, CRS -- I still have to work on this Zoom thing! I've been facetiming one on one.

You have had some great ideas! We did the drive thing...and are doing one a week (when I'm not tackling long overdue landscape projects). Last week we drove to a burb North of the city and grabbed a Publix sandwich, potato salad, chips and soda... We did the parking lot...nothing as beautiful as a lake, but it made for a nice afternoon.
I better get planning on one for this week....
Thanks for the inspiration...miss you!

Debe, so fun and creative and so right. There's always interesting things to do and new things to find to do. That's the most creative bar-hopping scene yet. Bet many rainers are jumping all over it, self included :))

We've been lucky to keep all of our vendors working like normal these past two months. They've been helpful in that they are practicing safe working conditions, wearing masks inside other's home and minimizing contact.

Hi Debe,
I think the pandemic has given us all a good excuse to mix things up and use our creativity to find fun in new ways. I know it's given me opportunities to actually "see" people in The Rain that I've only seen pictures of and read their words. I'm kind of thankful I don't look good on Zoom because then when people actually meet me in person they might be pleasantly surprised... or not! LOL
Debe Maxwell, CRS
Charlotte, NC
You are a hoot, Carol Williams! I am loving the Zoom meet-ups and hope we continue them after the country gets 'back to normal.' What a great group that is joining in each week too!
As for creativity - I was DETERMINED not to get bored or let Ray get bored. That kept me motivated to find fun things to do and it was really my own therapy! It's funny how those mental things work, isn't it?!
Hey, just keeping hubby smiling makes me smile...okay, he and my friends and clients! Life is too short, right?
Hope you're doing well and getting through all of this madness with a smile on your face too, John Juarez!

Morning Debe.
My wife and I stopped at Freddie's, the other day. We got our meal, drove to the front and started eating at a table outside. Sparrows were looking for a meal also. They really enjoyed the fries that were provided to them.
