Morning Debe.

My wife and I stopped at Freddie's, the other day.  We got our meal, drove to the front and started eating at a table outside.  Sparrows were looking for a meal also.  They really enjoyed the fries that were provided to them.

Good morning Debe. The wife and I have been very good at sheltering in place, but it is time to get out and smell the roses. No longer living in the south, no Freddies like James Dray! Enjoy your day!

Hello Debe - support for others can be demonstrated in many forms.  You have shared some useful prescriptions that can be interpreted in each area/community.  It can spread.  in the best of ways.   And it can truly grow exponentially.

There are so many ways to connect with others right now. We have been enjoying Facetime with our kids and grandkids.  Always fun and festive, especially with kids involved. One of our grandson's kept trying to give us a kiss. So sweet. 

Thanks for sharing some of your activities during these difficult times.

Dolores and I are staying at home in the social distancing mode.

Dolores enjoys her cooking but misses the trips to the store to pick up the things she wants. 

Hi Debe Maxwell, CRS - Thank you for the idea about sending a little gift or bakery item, etc. to some who live alone.  Before becoming a REALTOR® in Sedona, I used to serve "meals on wheels" and serve lunch to seniors at our Rec Center.  The smiles on the recipients' faces were all you needed to know you were doing a good thing.

Hey Debe you've given me some more great ideas! Love the flower idea for clients etc and the zoom parties.  Love that!  I know some of our folks would as well.  As for bar hoping at home.....been there done that with some neighbors (in the proper way of course) and I'm sure it will happen again soon!

The good thing about technology has been the connections we make even when staying safe. Great ideas.

Hi Debe,  Wow, such great ideas!  I never knew being restricted could be so much fun.  I plan to do another Zoom Happy Hour soon.  

Debe- I've read some of your coronavirus hacks on Facebook and thought they were ingenious. You've been providing lemonade for the lemons we've been dealt!!! And I do remember reading how you bar-hopped in your home! Creative and memorable. 

It’s important to find parts in this time especially and kind of inventory that to pass time And come out of this fulfilled.

Congratulations, the choices we make today determines our path, and you will be blessed keeping the spirit up during these challenging days. 

Reading your blog I sit here staring at the first sunny day in a while. I have not tried Zoom yet Debe Maxwell, CRS . Things are slow and I am feeling blue. I have been doing the shopping for my parents and a few other seniors who needed help. It lets me fill my day. They are so appreicative. Reading your blog gives me some inspiration.

You have had some great ideas! We did the drive thing...and are doing one a week (when I'm not tackling long overdue landscape projects). Last week we drove to a burb North of the city and grabbed a Publix sandwich, potato salad, chips and soda... We did the parking lot...nothing as beautiful as a lake, but it made for a nice afternoon. 

I better get planning on one for this week....

Debe, so fun and creative and so right.  There's always interesting things to do and new things to find to do.  That's the most creative bar-hopping scene yet.  Bet many rainers are jumping all over it, self included :))

Debe - I so love your creative, joy-filled spirit.  You can turn anything around in an instant.  Love your anniversary idea - so original remembering trips in the past. Such fun! 

We've been lucky to keep all of our vendors working like normal these past two months.  They've been helpful in that they are practicing safe working conditions, wearing masks inside other's home and minimizing contact.

I think the pandemic has given us all a good excuse to mix things up and use our creativity to find fun in new ways.  I know it's given me opportunities to actually "see" people in The Rain that I've only seen pictures of and read their words.  I'm kind of thankful I don't look good on Zoom because then when people actually meet me in person they might be pleasantly surprised... or not!  LOL

It is wonderful that you are doing so much to bolster the cheer in your community during these challenging times, Debe Maxwell.
