The Retreat at Rayfield saw the number of sales decrease by nine in the 1st quarter 2020. Both Lennar and Taylor Morrison, who were building in the community are now closed out, most likely contributing to the lower number of sales. The first quarter had eight more listings in the first quarter 2020 compared with the same quarter one year ago. Both average and median home prices increased compared with the first quarter 2019, as did listing prices. Average sale price in the first quarter 2020 was $444.150; median sale price was $431,000. Sellers received 98% of asking price in final sale price on average.
At first quarter end, nine homes were listed for sale in The Retreat at Rayfield and two homes were in contract.

The Retreat at Rayfield was built by two of Charlotte metro area's premier builders -- Lennar Homes and Taylor Morrison.
Lennar (now fully built out) featured craftsman style homes with a variety of 2-5 bedroom floor-plans, including ranch homes and 2-story homes, homes with the master retreat on the main floor, optional basements. Prices rangd from the low $300,000's to the high $400,000's for homes ranging in size from about 2,000 square feet to over 5,500 square feet plus 2-car garages.
Taylor Morrison (now fully built out) offered six floor-plans, also including ranch-style and 2-story homes, typically situated on at least one-third of an acre. Homes range in size from 3,000 square feet to 6,000 square feet with 2 or 3 car garages. Prices of homes ranged from the mid-$400,000's to mid-$600.000's.
