Stimulus Checked Out!!! Did you get a Stimulus Check? Congratulations, you amongst others received a Stimulus Check. Now what? I had the Heart Breaking experience in witnessing an Act of desperation. I was at a small Grocery Store, that is competing with some of the Major Grocery Stores. They have a certain way to bring customers through the Check out because of Social Distancing. I noticed a customer wasn't following direction, they were cutting in line before me. No problem, i didn't make anything of it. They announced Line number 1 is available. The Gentleman didn't move, so I proceed forward. Not paying attention to him, I placed my items on the conveyor. I heard a shout from one of the Cashier "He's running out the Store!" The Store Employees were able to catch up with the Distressed Gentleman, and they brought back the items he had in his basket: Hot Dogs, Buns, Drinks, Steaks, Shrimp. He was about to eat good.
The Reality of what I saw, was a Person who was desperate. Not judging a Book by it's cover. He was well dressed, Nice Car, and a look on his face of No Hope. Unfortunately I was parked next to him. It seem he had trouble starting his Car, and asked me for help. Wow!!! Good thing they didn't call the Police him. He said I'm sorry to ask, can you help me with some Money for Gas? I understand what he was going through, and gave $10 for Gas. A Miracle happend, his car started and he was out of there.
I realize in this Time of our Nation Shut Down, be respectful of the Person next to you. We don't know their frustration. Never assume. I hope I helped.
