NOTHING COULD KEEP THEM APART
What would you do for the love of your life? Monty and Rose are a pair of piping plovers. Winter is no fun for many creatures but when spring is in the air, love is sure to follow.
It's an affair to remember and luckily the Chicago Park District has been on the lookout awaiting their arrival to Chicago beaches. Morgan Greene of the Chicago Tribune reported on May 3, 2020, "The birds have been spotted" engaging in courtship behavior," which involves making scrape's in the sand," says Louise Clemency, a field Supervisor for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services.

"I'm not lazy, I'm energy efficient," says the Sloth! Cheers can be heard all over the Virginia Zoo! A baby sloth was born on March 8, 2020. With slanted eyes and a button nose this baby sloth snuggles and grows in the arms of its mother. Long hairs keeps the baby warm and comfy.

Despite the worries, life goes on for babies born during these trying times. Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound and other hospitals all over the country and globe continue to care for premature babies. A pair of twins were born in India.
New life is the greatest gift in the world. Despite the world's worries, there is a lot of love and compassion pouring out of Nurses and Doctors who deliver 24/7. Let us count the blessings for new borns and their families too.
