NOTHING COULD KEEP THEM APART

What would you do for the love of your life? Monty and Rose are a pair of piping plovers. Winter is no fun for many creatures but when spring is in the air, love is sure to follow.

It's an affair to remember and luckily the Chicago Park District has been on the lookout awaiting their arrival to Chicago beaches. Morgan Greene of the Chicago Tribune reported on May 3, 2020,  "The birds have been spotted" engaging in courtship behavior," which involves making scrape's in the sand," says Louise Clemency, a field Supervisor for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services.

You can read all about it in the Chicago Tribune

GIVE ME A HEAD WITH HAIR

"I'm not lazy, I'm energy efficient," says the Sloth! Cheers can be heard all over the Virginia Zoo! A baby sloth was born on March 8, 2020. With slanted eyes and a button nose this baby sloth snuggles and grows in the arms of its mother. Long hairs keeps the baby warm and comfy.

NICU

Despite the worries, life goes on for babies born during these trying times. Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound and other hospitals all over the country and globe continue to care for premature babies. A pair of twins were born in India.

New life is the greatest gift in the world. Despite the world's worries, there is a lot of love and compassion pouring out of Nurses and Doctors who deliver 24/7. Let us count the blessings for new borns and their families too.

Focus on newborns and all the love in your heart is restored ---Patricia Feager

Always love seeing babies and young children, they still believe in joy, and haven't yet had people knock it out of them. Love your photo and the reminder to consider life as precious.

Beth Atalay - Newborn life of all species are precious gifts. I am always amazed at how much a newborn learns in that first year of life without school or education. I hope your week ahead is worthy of good news and may you be sprinkled with love and kindness.

Kat Palmiotti - I do believe in miracles and the best one of all is the birth of a newborn! I hope you get to see some new baby animals now that spring is here! They also warm my heart. Let there be magic in the air and many healthy babies too. I will enjoy my day. May you find joy in all you do today and always.

George Souto - Let us never forget the innocence of childhood, whether that be human or animal. From those tiniest little beings grows compassion, love, and life long learning. May they be blessed!

Myrl Jeffcoat - Never say never! It has been a long time since I spent time on a beach. The next time, I'll be sure to look for scrapes in the sand, while I pick up seashells on the beach. And if you get there before me, and you happen to find shells on the beach, if they are broken and not perfect, please remember, life is not perfect, pick them up for me.

Michael Jacobs - "Love and other emotions...." we would certain miss out on life's most important lessons of all, if it wasn't for the emotional impact of love and adversities. Courage is a continuous process.

Doug Dawes - this year the intensity of spring and the "awakening," takes on new meaning for all. We must grab hold of all the beauty we see to keep going through these trials and tribulations. May God bless us, one and all.

Brian England - Babies are such an inspiration. They demonstrate strength and courage and all the while they are learning to trust their instincts. Isn't that amazing!!!

Nina Hollander - Amen! I agree with you completely! New life. Birth. Now that's a reality to embrace and get caught up in, because it is so good for the whole human race!

Will Hamm - the pleasure is all mine. I found so many great stories about newborns. I just thought a few would be enough. Hopefully, you got to read the article about the pair of piping plovers and the newborn sloth. They are short articles with adorable photos too! I'm so glad you liked it!

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS - Love is always there. Somewhere. We just have to look and be open to possibilities. I learned to shut my eyes to terror and pain long ago, but it took a lot of discipline. There is nothing else that compares to beauty more to me than the birth of a newborn baby, human, or animal. And I love, absolutely adore teeny, tiny buds and plants. Back in Illinois, I planted a 3 inch Blue Spruce in my front yard. I babied it and made a fence around it to protect it from kids, balls, and other predators - mostly human. Recently, I looked up the property address and my previous home was for sale. My tree grew up to be enormous!!! It so beautiful too. I feel like a proud mama of a Colorado Blue Spruce!

Patricia

I hope all is well for you. Have to admit, I am going a bit stir crazy.  Have been trying to be good, not drink and walk. Will call soon

Have to admit I first thought Monty and Rose being piping plovers was a typo until I reread your post and realized they might be something else. Good olde Google.

your friend, cheers cvc
