An interesting situation arose with a new potential listing The home seller demands names, phone numbers and addresses of all buyers who inquired about their home.

Why does he want it?
First off, where they were only willing to list for a very short time and wanted a great discount, I was just not sure. When they wanted to list at a price for more than any home has sold in their area. It was very unlikely this home would sell if over priced.
IN SUMMARY, there are some home sellers that hinder their own sale. With concrete comps, homes that actually sold the same size, same style and same condition. While they focused on leads, i focused on how to sell the home. The reddest of the red flags was writing in that he wanted all the leads turned to him when the home did not sell. The word "WHEN" was a red flag such as he already planned on it not selling. For his price, he was most likely right.
IN THE END I told him I would only take the listing if priced right. That my marketing was extensive and with consumer laws, information is kept private and not disclosed to anyone. If he wanted to sell the home. I was the person to sell it. If he wanted to simply gather leads, i am not the one for him.
