Grab 'n Go Free Groceries on Saturday in Silver Spring, MD

 

Happening again this Saturday at 11 a.m. -

The East County Community Recreation Center to provide boxes of free groceries to families experiencing financial hardship due to the Covid-19 public health crisis.

 

This is a Montgomery County Council MD announcement.

Hometown Holidays: Festing in Place
The COVID-19 emergency forced the cancellation of the Hometown Holidays Music Fest and Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade, but the city is determined to keep calm and party on by changing up the plan in order to safely carry on this Rockville tradition.

The revamped festival, dubbed Festing in Place, will allow the community to come together May 23-25 with music, food and video to mark Memorial Day weekend on the City of Rockville Hometown Holidays Music Fest page on Facebook and at www.rockvillemd.gov/HTH
