Nina, CT will start phase #1 on May 20th, and will 4 phases. I don't agree with all these phases. I don't think it will make any difference if everything opens at once or gradually in my opinion. What will make a difference are drugs that can combat the virus if someone comes down with it. I am thankful that some drugs are already available and others that are being tested.

Sounds like your area is slowly getting back to normal but with safety precautions which I think is wise.

Nina,
This is great information for those living in your neck of the woods. There is a lot of tension that is palpable here in our area...people need to let off steam. A

Morning Nina.
Our restaurants will open Monday, with rules of course. Real estate was considered an essential business, although business is down, we are still open

Michael Jacobs hi Michael... increasingly I believe that one size does not fit all... no reason for all the phases to be equal across all counties in the state... we have counties with zero to very few confirmed cases of covid and no reason to keep destroying their economy because of counties that have higher levels of infection.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel same here, Alexandra... they've been demonstrating in Raleigh for days and days now.
Kathleen Daniels good morning, Kathleen... I still question how necessary it was to shut down our economy as drastically as we did. But at this point it's like crying over spilt milk. Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Raymond Henson, SRES, GRI good morning, Raymond... this is not coming a minute too soon if you ask me. People are getting restless.

James Dray good morning, James... as you know, in our largest city and county we were not an essential business until May 1st. It will be at least another two weeks before our restaurants get opened again.
Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 good morning, Sheila and Larry... thankfully we were determined to be essential as of May 1st... but people have been so frightened by all the closings, it's a slow go for people being willing to put themselves out there to look at homes or let people into their homes.
We are opening back up here in NH too. The only issue is the beaches remain closed for fear MA residents where they have heavy infections still, will flood here and infect locals.

Scott Godzyk hi Scott... it's why all these re-openings really have to be not just local, but hyper-local if you ask me.
Good morning Nina. It sounds like by May 22nd hopefully everyone will be able to get some beauty in. I know that sounds shallow. I didn't go yesterday, I am still waiting to see how things go here and let them have a test run. Glad to hear your area is starting to open up. Praying all goes well for all of us!

Such a crazy time in our world that seems so ridiculous, rather than being able to deal with an issue and alleviate it the solution is for everyone to stay home and not be able to work, yet their bills don't go away, haha.

We are getting ready for Keller Williams Red Day, our big volunteer event - my office is volunteering at a women's shelter/food bank - I thought about volunteering - and then I thought I am 67 - and I can't take a chance on volunteering with that many people from DC who are having a hard time in life - I think we are going to have to use common sense going forward - even once they open the stores and restaurants and beaches

Nina, nice to see some states re-opening slowly, and sure hope people remember it could spread again.

Lise Howe I totally agree, Lise. I just got a summons for jury duty... just a few months away from being old enough to get automatically excused. But will be calling this week to say there's not a snowball's chance in hell that as a woman in her 70's I'll be going into a crowd at the courthouse on June 3rd when we will still be living with corona virus restrictions in North Carolina.
Joan Cox hi Joan... we can only hope that people exercise some common sense. I heard there lots of long lines yesterday in Charlotte at various retailers who were allowed to reopen this weekend.

Nina, listening to the Special Report on how states are opening too early, and will see another outbreak of the virus. Hope they are not correct.

Joan Cox hi Joan... I'm one of those who thinks we just can't stay shuttered forever. Sweden didn't shut down. They just asked people to distance socially, stay home as much as feasible, and just be sensible. They now have major herd immunity, which is what we need to develop.

Hello Nina - as communities and states across the country, roll out the various openings, it will be interesting to see how interpretation plays a part in this phased process. Maybe, the use of the word "plays" is not the most appropriate choice given the circumstances.
