My Shadow Living the Back 40 Lifestyle 

As me and my pup, Casey was out on a walk this evening the sun was on its way down and there it was... our Shadows. Along came the memory of when I was a little girl living in Minnesota.

I attended a private school Fourth Baptist Christian Day School at the time it was located in Downtown Minneapolis. The name has since changed to 

Fourth Baptist Christian School located in Plymouth Minnesota. 

Several memories came back as my shadow stood in front of me. 

Mrs. White was a teacher there at the time, we had to stand in front of the class and recite the poem as well as memorize Bible verses. 

Here is the poem:

It is interesting to me that the part of the poem that I remember is 

for he sometimes shoots up taller like an india rubber ball. 

Although that is not how my thoughts remember it funny how that happens. 

A long walk is a great time to run through your thoughts of the day, or what happened for me memories of the past. 

Living in the Back 40 is amazing.
