Hollyhock Blooming Now in Our Home

Hi Michael Jacobs , I looked at the video to check if I will identify/recognize it. I think the ornaments on the structure are a stylized, geometrical vision of the hollyhock plant, and the videographer (from the link) had captured one plant waving with the wind to the viewers. Initially when the docent was referring to the Hollyhock House, it didn't sound any different to me than "Falling Waters'" for example, a combination of words describing something that stands out in the structure. 

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat , I was late with planting the sunflowers this year. We love to have the sunflowers in our yard as they always attract the rosy-faced love-birds.

Hi Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD , I understand they can grow quite high, up to 6ft. I can see them as a height layer in a cottage style garden. Thanks for your comment. 

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel , I agree, Taliesin West in Scottsdale, AZ, is a lovely place and the docent tours are always so informative and inspiring. The Hollyhock House is not too far from you, distancewise. I would love to visit it in person one day.

Hi Bob Crane , I am glad this flower brought a memory of your Mother-in-Law's garden. I have photos from my Mom's flowers over the years and love to look at them.
