Great "explanation" of the best way to network... although I'll be the first to admit, Grant, I'm not a big networker. But I'm all about getting back to basics in many other ways.

Good morning, Grant Schneider we each have our own style..... mine is to network with participating in local and county political campaigns that need the Town Of Franklin MA as a strong base to win.... Quincy and Franklin are critical areas for political campaigns.... I jump on that and I become a major player ....I'm currently working with a candidate who is a strong favorite for Norfolk County Sheriff.... I apply real estate marketing and branding facts to accomplish the win in my town.....
fun stuff.... but handled very differently during this Covid-19 period.... signage is KING....no rallying; or fund raisers.... we must rely of signage....and advertising.

My struggle is keeping up with marketing activities when I am busy with business. During slow times it is easy to market more since I have nothing else to take me away from it.

Hello Grant - growing, feeding and nurturing the basics remain the foundation of life. And, of course, in many aspects of it.

Grant, I did stop the mailings in March, at least the ones promoting homeowners to list their homes. I texted my client base and stayed in touch with many, plus did an e-newsletter to update them on the "new" market.

Great advice, never stop marketing. Have to say, I need something else to do all day, so dreaming up new marketing messages is one way.

Sham - we should never stop networking.
Wayne - that is right. And never stop.
Nina - as long as the pipeline stays full
Barbara - that is fun stuff.
Michael - that has certainly been the case with me.
Brian - that is the case. I think that we will see an increase now in memberships in formal networking groups.
Michael - your network should be nurtured and fed.
Joan - maybe a short pause is justified.
Paul - yes that is always the case. Tried and true.
Nick - isn't that the truth with all this time.

Grant there are three basic steps in someone giving us business they need to:
The first two are easy to accomplish, but the third is hard to get, but easy to lose.

Hi Grant Schneider - I need to start getting a back up to my pipeline of vendors. Some are 2 weeks out right now.
I also will ponder working on my referral network. Thank you. I have had good results with that!

HI Grant- the fundamentals have been around for a long time for a good reason...they work. If you work on the basics and continue to do so, your business can continue to grow.

Morning Grant.
Never was a fan of "new and improved", just give me the basic fundamentals, I'll survive and thrive

Will - just keep doing what works.
George - trust is something you work for and don't want to lose.
Roy - thank you.
Ron and Alexandra - you can not go wrong when you follow fundamentals.
Sheri - the referral network or strategic alliances are very import to the process.
Kathy - in 2009 I remember that people had slowed down and had to start up again. Easier to keep going.
James - that is true because fads come and go but these fundamentals stay.
Great points. You have to double down in a moment like 9/11, The Crash, The Pandemic, etc. Because much of your competition is not!
Becoming a COI or what I call "your personal Google" is something that takes years of consistency, reliability and visibility in your community. My networking group has an actual Power Partners Day 1/3 meetings. We meet with our strategic partners within the group to brainstorm beneficial marketing ideas we can co-brand.
Grant, it was a different way of communicating to our clients while staying at home. Had some great conversations with clients.
I could not have said it any better, thanks for sharing!
Networking is a great way to build your business. But just like your other business processes, you need to have a networking process. You should have goals and measured outcomes.
