Road junctionAs we all sit at home, many may be wondering what is real estate going to look like when things improve and we can begin to get back to normal. What is that new normal going to look like?

Well, like the image to the right, there are a lot of different routes that can be taken.  Most will not lead to the destination you want to arrive at, but if you are careful making your way through the junction you won't get lost and you will arrive at your destination.

During this enforced stay at home period I have managed to bring homes to settlement.  Getting one to appraise for substantially more than a previous sale where the appraisal caused it to fall through and obtaining my sellers an increased return. In fact both homes which settled, suffered from bad initial appraisals and we got both to settlement in a time when it was a challenge but we overcame those challenges.

Now as I look forward in realize things are going to be different and I am preparing for sales in Tredyffrin Easttown and along the Main Line so that my clients can find their way through the junction and reach their destination. Obviously, one needs a road map, a plan and the knowledge of what challenges might lie ahead.

StretchingI have put together a showing kit, it consists of disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, gloves and shoe covers, I have found most people have their own masks and prefer to use those. No one wants to get sick, but there are ways to show homes and achieve your goals of home ownership if you are buying or of selling a home right now.

I am getting ready now, for what I expect to be a busy period when our area of Pennsylvania, Tredyffrin Easttown and the Main Line re-opens fully for business. If you have  questions about what you can do to get ready as a buyer or a seller, contact me today and let's set up a virtual meeting to discuss what is required. Good morning Nick (almost noon) for you.  Your post is spot on, and I think of something Ron's father used to say as the definition of luck, preparedness meeting opportunity....It was originally said by Earl Nightingale, and followed by many others with a change in a word or two.  A

Hello Nick - we make changes.  We adjust.  It may seem like it's one step forward with one step in another direction.  Keep moving.  And with a plan.

I'm not sure the road to the future has been fully mapped or paved yet, Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 ... we're doing that as we go.  But that doesn't mean we can't be prepared and have the right tools to complete that roadwork in our possession now.  I like Michael Jacobs' idea of having a plan ... or maybe even 2.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel that is a famous saying and as you say, even that has been adapted over time.

Roy Kelley and we will all adapt as we move ahead. Because that is what we do.

Kathy Streib we all need to think ahead, just as those in our Space Force are being asked to do. Who knows what really waits us, but we can start thinking about it and get ready as best we can.

We are still not considered essential services and belief is our governor is going to veto the latest bill James Dray so who knows when we will be back to work.
