While many of us are sidelined from work or activities, homemade dinners have made quite the comeback.
But I, for one, am sick of cooking. And preparing meals for kids that seemingly need to eat non-stop.
So, today is some relief for grown-ups looking to make their food in half the time. These tips help with clean up too!
5 Ways to Make a Healthy Dinner FAST
1. Skip the Meat
Not only is less meat better for you, but let's face it. Meat takes the longest to cook. So, if you're looking to trim your time and waistline, consider occasionally leaving out the meat.
2. Use the Crockpot
It's only the greatest kitchen invention ever! Along with the Instant Pot of course!
Prep it all beforehand, and then leave it to do the cooking for you!

3. Have a List of Go-To Dinners
Part of getting food on the table quickly is knowing which dinners produce the results you want. So, keep a recipe notebook or a page on the fridge with your favorite fast and easy meals.

4. Make Your Own Freezer Meals
Double what you cook and freeze the extras to pull out another night. Not only does this dramatically cut down on cooking, but your cleaning is cut in half as well.
Want to load up all at once? Try a freezer meal swap or meal party with friends.
5. Buy Pre-packaged
Pre-packaged can also mean processed (which isn't good for you) and should be avoided. However, when you want to eat healthy, but also do it quickly, consider splurging on already cut veggies, spiralized zucchini, and pre-packaged salads. They cut the work and time in half, while still letting you keep your diet clean.
Our current situations will take some time to change, but these tips should help with the cooking load so that no one is slaving in the kitchen!
