Ohio is starting to reopen businesses. Yesterday was the first day restaurants and bars could reopen, although for right now dining is limited to OUTSIDE and with extra spacing between tables. Next week INSIDE can reopen at very limited capacities.
Some restaurants are choosing to stand fast for right now and wait longer before reopening.
Others are more "it's about time".
The ones that seems to be making out the best? The ones that could readily offer their menus for takeout or delivery.
And some areas in our market are doing a better job than others in supporting local small business impacted by the shutdowns....I'm not mentioning any names MASON...but you might want to look at Lebanon's approach. Starting Friday through Sunday a block of Mulberry street is blocked off to through traffic to allow additional outdoor space for restaurants and shops.
As far as the real estate market, we're seeing ups and downs based upon the area and price range. Overall, the market is 1-2 months behind where it NORMALLY would be for this time of year.
We've got a little normalcy returning with a new Lebanon Ohio home to put on the market Monday. Thanks to MLS regulations we can't tell you a lot about the home, but if you're waiting for a 4 bedroom, 2/2 bath, 2 car garage home with a finished basement on a cul de sac street priced under $260,000, check back with us Monday. Until then, mum's the word.
Other homes should be coming on the market as conditions get a bit more normal and sellers are comfortable having strangers in their home.
Until then, if you're looking for a seller consultation, just give Bill a call at 513-520-5305 and we can discuss the pros and cons of the current market and how those conditions might impact your personal situation.
