Bob "RealMan" Timm thanks, Bob... not sure where there is flooding in NC... none in my area... and I admit I'm not following the coastal areas or mountain areas very closely. My bad. Now, off to call my hair dresser... haven't had a hair trim in 4 months... that's alot for someone who gets her hair trimmed every 4-5 weeks!

Bob "RealMan" Timm the way I cut my hair, there's never enough "length" to do that I'm afraid! :)
Before you go... got enough to trim off to build me a hair piece
.
My gym opened up this week, so I have really enjoyed getting back to swimming my laps!

Michael Jacobs thanks, Michael, for the good wishes. I'm one of those who believes that more opening up of our world will result in more herd immunity... not that I'm going crazy and taking any chances.

Brian England hi Brian... lucky, lucky you! Our indoor facilities, which include gyms, are still closed through end of June. ![]()

Nina, Nice to include the Phase 2 openings here. It can be very confusing to consumers, but you outlined it to reallly understand what's open and what's not!

Glad to see more activities are beginning to open up and begin real life. At least in some areas of the country. Be safe out there and do have some fun.

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 thanks, Sheila and Larry. Phase 2 is actually more modest than was anticipated two weeks ago when we started Phase 1... but right now, I'll take what I can get.
Nina,
How wonderful that you have some services open. I have not had a haircut for over 5 months now. I get one every 3 months...LOL.(I get my hair cut in Beverly Hills, and LA county is on shut down for another 3 months) I heard that Santa Barbara is working on criteria for restaurants...I don't know what it will be yet...A

Your Phase Two his more liberal than our Phase Two that we're currently in. However, if numbers stay low, our Phase Three could start around mid-June -- when I'll get my hair cut!!

Nina, it is nice to hear about re-opening all over, but watching the news this morning, we are seeing more outbreaks, which is a bit scary.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel hi Alexandra... my appointment for a hair cut is set for Tuesday. Can't wait!
Lottie Kendall hi Lottie... you might just end up jumping ahead of us. Our modified Phase 2 is in effect till June 26th... no word on a broader Phase 2, much less Phase 3. Unless of course, there's a revolution in North Carolina before that. I haven't been to the gym since early March and they are closed at least till end of June.
George Souto good morning, George... at least I can now get a hair cut and a mani-pedi! I've not had either for 4+ months.
Joan Cox hi Joan... I think it's important not just to watch the outbreaks, but how many hospitalizations and deaths. Those have been going way down, in general, as a percentage of outbreaks which means the virus is losing some steam.

I hope so.
Ted Glover hi Ted... right now, my idea of real fun is to get a haircut (thankfully scheduled for this coming Tuesday) and to get a manicure and pedicure (hopefully next week). :)

Beth Atalay good morning, Beth... I will begin feeling like a human as of Tuesday afternoon when I get a hair cut... then it's on to the nails!
Grant Schneider good morning, Grant. I'm not surprised. I've been going to my stylist for 20 years... so I know I was one of her first clients to be booked. She'd probably like to keep me for another 20 years (if I live that long!).
James Dray good morning, James... I don't think your state closed down as much as NC did... our gaming won't open before end of June. But as long as I can get a haircut and a mani/pedi, I'm happy!
Thanks for sharing this information. Our area is still closed.
Have a great day.

Roy Kelley hi Roy... it's not like I'll be going nuts running all over town because restrictions are gradually being lifted as of 5pm today... but I like knowing that I can be "free-er."
Baby steps, right? We are going to be self-isolating for much of our trip. Called each state and discussed their protocols - since we have some nights in hotels, I also discussed their cleaning and safety protocols. It's important for people to handle this with a high degree of responsibility. I'm with you though, it feels good to have some lessening of restrictions. We are packing up the car and hoping to hit the road soon. Have a great weekend, Nina. D

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD hi Debb... wishing you and Bernie a lovely (and safe) trip. So much more complicated these days to go out of town... so I'm still sticking close to home. Wishing you both a lovely Memorial Day weekend.
Congrats that North Carolina is opening their pools 50% - we are not opening anything in Montgomery County- UGH

Lise Howe hi Lise... my hoa is not opening its pool as yet despite the permission. Very hard to monitor traffic and it can get very crowded on weekends and hot days.
Hi Nina,
So glad you get to move to Phase 2. Part of our state has but the Governor still has our county stuck in Phase I.

Carol Williams good morning again, Carol... at this stage I believe so many of these highly restrictive measures are seeing diminishing returns while allowing people to "suffer" economically and health-wise.

Glad to see more businesses (people) are being allowed to resume their place in the community. I'm very thankful North Dakota has been way ahead of most of the nation as very little was shut down in the 1st place and now I believe everything is open. Nina Hollander I hope everyone is safe in NC with the flooding I am hearing about.
