Four legged (doggie) Beauty? Ugly? Cute? Contest

great idea neighbor!  I love a contest....just wish I had a dog so I could enter, lol.    Enjoy the weekend :)

I am not sure how to insert a picture of my 65 pound baby.  She is an Irish Setter (see my profile) that came to live with me on December 29, 2007.  When she was rescued by the North Texas Irish Setter Rescue in October, she was found to be heartworm positive.  Once she had a clean bill of health they let her come home. 

We have had a few problems adjusting.  She seems to like to shop lift at Petco when we go there.  I don't know why they put the treats right where she can get them.  haha.   She does not like to be alone.  I have bought her a nice metal crate but she doesnt like it.  She has already bent it to where it will hardly fold down. 

But she is also a bit spoilt now.  We go calling on some of my offices together (when the weather was cooler).  She loves it when I stop at the local Sonic and we order ice cream.  We have been asked to be in a foster/adoption parade on July 4th so we are looking forward to getting her groomed for the act.  But most of all, she has saved my life.  I am suppose to walk and she insists we do this every morning and every evening. 

If I can figure out how to make the picture thing work on here, I will put some additional photos of her laying on her back and just grinning with all teeth showing.  She is soooo goofy.

How do you send the pictures?  By e-mail?

How is the blog done - under a certain group?  on our own blog with a special blog dedicated to our dog (s)?  Or do we just post it as a reply to this e-mail?  My doggy wins hands down....all you others can back off now! :)  He's a 12 year old pomeranian who has lost 90% of her fluffy body he was born with due to a thyroid condition that thryod pills don't work. The we have a psycho-ceramic yorky terrier who is totally whacko...runs around like a chicken with her head cut off.  Love both of the puppies immensely......hey I would start hating my kids if all of a sudded they turned ugly!

Marie......i have a four footed little yorkie.  she is less than 5 pounds and loves to snuggle.  she is sitting with me as i blog all snug as a bug.   by the way, muffy is cute!

I am a sucker for dogs.  Love 'em all!  (OK, I like all animals)

Marie - Great to see you getting into the rain community.  Love the idea..see its not that hard, a little practice and you'll be on your way... lets see I have (I think) a year old Lab mix (he was a stray).  Best dog ever (actually the only dog) - he came potty trained, fetches a ball and all those other things that most spend alot of time to train.  Let's see upload a pic -

Bill & Tony - here is a good link to see how to edit pictures and to get a URL.  Jeff Turner blogged a How-to-video and I use the tips and tricks faithfully.  I would suggest editing your picture if you like in Picnik.com, then you can save the picture to Flickr.com.  In flickr your able to get an URL.  Afterwards click the icon with the tree and copy and paste the URL from Flickr. I opened to windows 1-with Jeff's video playing and 2nd- with Picnik.  I did the steps while he was.  I hope this helps.  (Thanks again to Jeff).
