Pictured above is a small row of grape vines with a large bush of roses planted next to it. If you visit the wine country in California or world wide, you will notice hedges of roses are blooming on the perimeter of the vineyards. Both grapevines and roses thrive in the same type of soil and sunlight exposure. Roses are the early warning system of potential disease that may endanger the vines.
"Every rose that is sweet-scented within, That rose is telling of the secrets of the Universal."
~ Rumi
"A single rose can be my garden... a single friend, my world."
~ Leo Buscaglia
"The rose is without 'why'; it blooms simply because it blooms. It pays no attention to itself, nor does it ask whether anyone sees it."
~ Angelus Silesius
Wishing you all delightful Sunday!
